How get the resolution 2560x1080 for an ultra wide monitor (this monitor doesn't have display port, only hdmi) i've tried switchresX but it doesn't give me 60hz and it isn't free.

>System Preferences>Displays
click the "Scaled" radio button WHILE holding down the OPTION Key and you will see all the possible resolution combinations your GPU supports. If 2560x1080 is not shown it's not supported by the card.
it didn't worked, but I'm using a nvidia gtx 960, and in my other windows pc it support 2560x1080 60hz.
I have that card in a PC as well. Is this an aftermarket card? The driver set from for Apples Nvidia offerings supported in OS X might be limited and Nvidia themselves never released drivers for this card for OS X. You might have to search for an aftermarket driver and anything you find should be considered unofficial. If you decide to try it the results are entirely your responsibility and I suggest you backup before proceeding.
